Who Is This For

Three scopes of practice, one shared gap

  • Registered mental health professionals.

Psychologists, counsellors, social workers, and marriage and family therapists whose clients raise sexual concerns without warning.

  • Physicians and prescribers.

Clinicians who hold the medical side of sexual health and need the psychological and relational context around it.

  • Pelvic health physiotherapists.

Practitioners working directly with the body who want the framework that surrounds the physical work.

The Curriculum

Built from practice, not theory alone

Most clinical training leaves sexual health out entirely. That is not a personal failing. It is a curriculum gap, and it shows up in practice as a question the clinician does not ask and the client does not raise. Every module is written by Registered Psychologists who see this caseload, sourced to peer-reviewed literature, and situated in Canadian provincial regulatory frameworks rather than borrowed from another country's system.

Taught by clinicians who carry this caseload

Transcend Training Institute is founded and directed by Registered Psychologists with direct clinical experience treating sexual health concerns.

FAQ

Practical questions only. Anyone reading the FAQ on a course platform has already decided to look; they are checking logistics, not being convinced.

  • Do these courses carry CE, CME, or CPD credit?

State the credit type, hours, and accrediting body per course. Do not publish this until it is confirmed in writing.

  • How long do I have access?

There is no limit to your access. Take as long as you need to complete your course work. You will also retain access to the information ongoing.

  • Do I need to be registered or licensed?

You do not need to be registered or licensed to register and access most of the courses offered by the TTI, however, you must be on the path to licensure- for instance, be enrolled in a masters program. To obtain the CCST certification, you do require licensure with a professional regulatory body.

  • Do the short courses count toward the certification?

No, the shorter courses (Essentials, Advanced Foundations, and CE) are not a part of the CCST certification pathway.
